edro began his career at W.R. Grace & Co in 1968 where he served as President
and CEO of several divisions. Through a series of promotions, in 1989, he rose
to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Grace Cocoa, a division of W.R.
Grace & Co. Grace Cocoa (subsequently sold to ADM and renamed ADMCocoa) was
the world’s leading and premier supplier of cocoa ingredients to the confectionery,
dairy, bakery and beverage industries on a global basis. After leaving W.R. Grace & Co.
in 1995, Pedro establishedMGSMata Global Solutions, advising companies on strategic
growth and joint venturing. Between 2000 and 2012 Pedro was a senior advisor to
Quad-C (a USA based private equity fund). Between 2009 and 2012 he served as CEO
of Classic Party Rentals. Headquartered in Los Angeles, Classic Party Rentals ( a Division
of Quad C) is the leading US party and event rental company.
